Rules for the group are:
- Keep posts discussion-focused.
FibroFighters is a private support group created for conversation, connection, and peer support. To keep discussions easy to follow, memes and repetitive image posts are not permitted. - Be respectful.
Personal attacks, bullying, harassment, or disrespectful comments will not be tolerated. You do not have to agree with every post or comment—please scroll past content that does not resonate with you. If you have an issue with another member, you may block them. - Do not block admins or moderators.
Admins and moderators must be able to view member activity in order to manage the group. Blocking an admin or moderator may result in removal from the group. - Respect member privacy.
What is shared in the group should remain in the group. Do not screenshot, copy, repost, or share another member’s posts, comments, or personal information outside the group without their permission. - No discrimination or hate speech.
Racism, discrimination, hate speech, or degrading comments based on another person’s identity or background will not be tolerated. - Keep politics out of the group.
Political posts and discussions are not permitted. FibroFighters is a fibromyalgia support community, and conversations should remain focused on support, health, and shared experiences. - Respect individual treatment choices.
Everyone’s fibromyalgia experience is different. Please respect each member’s choices regarding medications, treatments, and symptom management. What helps one person may not help another, and no one should be criticized or belittled for the choices they make for their own health. - No fundraising, sales, or requests for money.
Fundraisers, requests for financial assistance, home-based sales, and promotional posts are not permitted. We understand that chronic illness can create financial challenges, but FibroFighters is not intended for requesting or raising money. - No cannabis or CBD discussions.
Posts, comments, or links relating to cannabis, THC, or CBD are not permitted. This helps reduce the risk of content being flagged and keeps the group compliant with Facebook/Meta policies. - Medication/dosage discussion are NOT allowed. Medication and Dosage discussion is not allowed – groups are getting shut down for dosage discussion. This is a new “unwritten” facebook rule by meta. Groups are getting permanently shut down.
